Bio

I love staying active and have been since a young age. I played a number of sports, my main one being hockey. I went onto play hockey internationally which was a great achievement for me, it was a real passion. Unfortunately I got injured and had to stop playing. However with my competitive nature, the feeling I got from sport never really left me.

This made me want study to be a personal trainer. So in March this year I took the course, learnt a lot and started training people in June this year. I started Instagram to see where it could take me and to share what I learnt with others. I get such enjoyment out of seeing others set and achieve their goals, being able to motivate people and seeing people have their off days and helping push them through. I still have lots to learn and try to be as interactive with everyone as I can, responding to any questions to help people lead a healthier and happier lifestyle. Work for what you want in every aspect of your life. And don’t quit, rest.

Training Tips

Glute activation before you workout, resistance bands are amazing for this, and you can do it anywhere.

My favorite products are the slender blend and there new slender blend prorridge. Ive used the slender blend for a while, i love the taste and for me this is so important, i want to be making sure I’m getting the right things in my body but i also want to enjoy it. i usually take this as a shake in the morning and mix it with oats or ill take it post workout, now that protein world have brought out the slender blend protein porridge i have this instead of mixing the slender blend with with oats. It keeps me energised for my workout and means that i can get the most out of my workout there for get the best results. the slender porrage gives me the same fulness as normal oats, but has much less calories and carbs, helping me reach my goals quicker.

Training Tips

Motivation is a hot word these days. Everyone is always looking for it in order to begin, and they try to hold onto it to maintain momentum. One of my favorite sayings is "motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going". Once you understand that motivation is fleeting, it takes the pressure off. You begin to accept that you're not always going to wake up and instantly jump out of bed feeling excited to go to the gym. Instead, you create a routine for yourself and you make a promise to stick to it. After some time, that routine becomes a habit engrained in your daily life. You will no longer need "motivation" to work out, instead you'll simply be fueled by the fact that exercising is now an important part of your life, and you do it because it simply because makes you feel good!

Training Tips

1. Turn your whole body into the punches, the power comes from your hips as well as your arms. You don’t always have to throw one knockout punch after another. Combo light and hard punches and use head movement to fake out your opponent.
2. Don’t take short cuts when it comes to your range of motion. Do full reps- not half! Your muscles will do more work per rep and it will result in you breaking down more muscle tissue by the end of the workout.

Georgia Salamat

Bio

Hey, so let me introduce myself.  My name is Georgia Salamat, I'm 22 and a full time model based in London.  Being a model it's imperative to maintain a healthy physique.  The industry has changed a lot over the years and portraying a healthy, fit body image, rather than painfully thin, has been in the forefront of a lot of retailers campaigns.  My schedule is incredibly busy, but also inconsistent, meaning that finding a time to train is harder than with a normal 9-5.  I have worked with a lot of sports brands, such as campaigns for the likes of JD sports.

Training Tips

As i said earlier, finding time to train can be difficult, especially if you are working in a different city and don’t have a gym available.  Thus, if a gym isn’t available, then I always try and do a home workout.  Setting up a 30 minute circuit to do before you start your day is easy, ensures you manage to fit in a workout, and also sets you perfectly up for the day.

Training Tips

Most of my clients come to me with the same requests, to build a butt, gain some ab definition and blast away those bingo wings. My key top tips for these specific issues are:

Mix it up - make sure your training styles don't go stale on you! I am a massive fan of weight training for bulking my bottom half, HIIT for fat burning and plyometrics for a real burn. I also recommend cardio - I sprint three times a week and for me, this was a massive factor when trying to gain ab definition and overall fitness improvements

Another top tip - music is key! If you want a great workout make sure you have a good pair of headphones and a great playlist to get you in the mood and keep you motivated!

Above all - enjoy it! Exercise is a friend not an enemy

Training Tips

1. Never focus on the end goal, bear that in mind but don't make it your focus. Make the very second you're living in your focus. Never aim for 'perfection' but strive for daily progress, changing the big picture is all about the small steps.

2. Every athlete started off as a beginner, so don't be discouraged if you're just starting your journey. We all started somewhere and we're all on our own individual journeys. Train like a pro, feel like a pro
